How to play Digimon Connect
Read the two endpoints
Every puzzle gives you a starting Digimon and a target, plus the length of the shortest chain between them.
Digivolve or de-digivolve
Tap ＋ to see where the current Digimon can go. Moving up the line (▲ digivolve) and back down it (▼ de-digivolve) both cost one step.
Don't double back
A Digimon can appear only once per chain, so a form you've already used stops being offered. Undo a step or reset if you get stuck.
Reach the target
Land on the target Digimon to finish. Match the shortest chain for a perfect solve, then share your result and come back tomorrow.
What is Digimon Connect?
Digimon Connect is a free daily puzzle about digivolution lines. Think of the roster as a map: every Digimon is a place, and every digivolution is a road you can drive in either direction. Each day you're dropped at one Digimon and asked to reach another, and the only way there is through the forms in between.
The board is built from all 451 Digimon in the Digimon Story: Time Stranger field guide, with their digivolution links intact — Baby (I) through Ultra (VI+), plus the Armor and Hybrid tiers that sit outside the main line. Short chains are rarely the obvious ones: getting from a Rookie to a Mega often means de-digivolving first to reach a branch that actually climbs where you need it.
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone, reset at midnight UTC. Your streak and solve stats live in your browser — no account, nothing to install, though you can add it to your home screen if it becomes a habit.

What is Digimon Connect?
Digimon Connect is a free daily browser puzzle. Each day you get two Digimon — a start and a target — and your job is to link them by walking their digivolution line, one Digimon at a time. It's built on the roster from Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
How do you play Digimon Connect?
Start from the Digimon on the left and pick a next step. You may digivolve (move up the line to a form the current Digimon evolves into) or de-digivolve (move back down to a form it evolved from). Keep going until you reach the target Digimon. Fewer steps is better, and the puzzle tells you the shortest possible chain.
Is there a new puzzle every day?
Yes. A new start-and-target pair unlocks every day at midnight UTC, and everyone plays the same one. Your streak and stats are saved in your browser.
What does de-digivolve mean?
De-digivolving is moving backwards along a digivolution line — from Greymon back to Agumon, for example. In Digimon Connect it costs a step just like digivolving does, and it's often the only way to cross from one branch of the tree to another.
Can I use the same Digimon twice in one chain?
No. Each Digimon can appear only once per chain, so you can't double back through a form you've already used. The picker simply stops offering it. If you've painted yourself into a corner, undo a step or reset the puzzle.
